Faulty phone line and broadband

My newly installed broadband is very slow and the phone line is dead

The phone line is likely dead because Sky users VoIP which is provided by plugging the phone into the back of the router for the telephone. As for the speed, you'll need to provide further information, eg: whether it is wireless or wireless and wired ethernet-connected devices that speed is slow.

 

Can you post a speed test and the details above over a wired connection, please?
