FTTP Mesh wifi recommendations direct to ONT

Hi, I had FTTP installed today and am currently using it in the same setup as my old system which means the Sky router is plugged into the ONT and then the first of three  BT Whole home discs are plugged into the Sky router (with wifi disabled).

Hoping to cut box and cable clutter, I'd hoped I'd be able to get rid of the Sky router but it seems like the BT Whole home discs aren't capable of this. So my questions are this:

1. Ideal situation is someone else has got the Whole home discs to connect directly to the ONT (I don't think this can be done).
2. Someone can recommend a replacement Mesh wifi system that can plug directly to the ONT.

Thanks in advance

That's not possible: the Whole Home disks, unlike some other mesh systems, aren't capable of being their own router.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I thought that was probably the case.

So would something like the Netgear Orbi RBK353 work, or could anyone recommend anything else?

Thanks

@rob85 you need a router that supports DHCPv4 Option 61 which according to thiis page https://kb.netgear.com/000062426/Which-NETGEAR-routers-support-DHCP-option-60-and-61 the one you looked at doesnt. TP-Link Deco units similarly dont provide that support. Most Asus units do as do Unifi AFAIK.
