FTTP - Activation date is today but engineer couldn't complete

Hello,

I'm moving to Sky Fibre from another provider and my activation date was today 24/06

I didn't have FTTP so an engineer was required to run fibre but had difficulties running the fibre. (They need to return in the next few days to dig and gain access to the ducting)

I am worried that i'm going to lose my existing connection until this is resolved. Who would i need to contact to ensure my existing broadband isn't cut off?

Thanks for any help

@azza19892 Then the old provider keeps the system on until sky tell them that they have fully installed got you working and you are now active on the sky system.

That is how it is suppossed to work, if your old provider cuts you off that is there issue and they SHOULD not until sky say NOW!

@azza19892 If you placed the order with sky and used the OTS system, sky take care off everything, IF you did anything else like cancelled your old service, then that is for you to do!

I didn't cancel my old service, i let my new provider take care of everything.

But i was on live chat to my current provider tonight and they said my service is due to end 25/06 at midnight.

I may not have my new connection active by then.
