Extremely poor upload speeds on Fibre broadband. No issue with download speeds.
I have been suffering from extremely poor upload speeds since start of this year. Sometimes, getting 0.01mb/s and rarely getting over 1mb/s. The problem exists with both wireless and ethernet connection. I have no problem with download speeds, getting 480+ mb/s ethernet and 200+ mb/s wireless. Sky sent me out a new router and this has not resolved the problem even with nothing connected to the new router bar my laptop to test the speeds. I have had 2 tickets closed telling me the problem has been resolved and every time I go back to them, they ask me to run the same tests again. Today Sky asked me to run another sets of tests on both routers connected to multiple servers using Ookla which I spent several hours doing and sent them all back. However, based on my experience so far, I am not confident I will get a resolution as I think an engineer needs to come out and check the ONT etc. Has anybody else has similar experiences or can offer advice. It has come to the stage where I need to hot-spot to my mobile phone in order to work from home and this is not ideal. I do not want to change providers unless I have to as I have never experienced any problems with Sky previously but this one is killing me.

Update for anyone that has similar problems - after a totally inadequate response from Sky Ireland since I first reported this problem in early January and their absolute inability to convey the nature of the problem (i.e. poor upload speeds NOT download speeds) to OpenEir, I have given up and terminated my contract and will move to Virgin Media. I do want to acknowledge the efforts of the most recent customer support agent I dealt with (Joelene in Dublin) over the last few days to try and get the Tier 2 team to take action - I do feel sorry for people like her dealing with the public and having a totally incompetent Tier 2 team and associated processes for dealing with issues like this. Thanks to Sky Ireland for wasting at least 30 hours of my valuable time running tests, gathering data, ringing them etc. for absolutely nothing.
