Experience in moving a master socket in a block of flats

I contacted Sky today to book an Openreach engineer to move the location of the master socket in my flat.  The agent was very helpful and explained it would cost £65 (which seems pretty reasonable if you as me) but when she checked the restrictions, apparently Openreach won't move the master socket for anyone who lives in a block of flats! Has anyone got any experience managing to get Openreach to change the location of the master socket while living in a flat?  Many thanks!

Its probably down to two things,

- The way connections are distributed in blocks of flats

- Permission to actually move the socket and run a cable through walls etc.

Whilst in theory you shouldn't interfere with a master socket, relocation is fairly simple. You just need some cable, a small telephone junction box & an IDC tool to remake the connection.
