Every day my Broadband and Streaming TV cuts off.

Every day my Broadband and Streaming TV cuts off. Sometimes 10 times a day. The Broadband modem lights are all green , then all go off, then the 4th light goes red. Slowly they all come back on but the red light stays on for a while. During this time the internet goes off and the Streaming TV blacks out. Even when the internet comes back on it takes ages for the TV to come back on.

I've moved the modem and even used ethernet cables to try and fix problem. When I check service in the area it says "No Problem"

Run out of ideas.

We can see your line is dropping from the log but you didnt post your stats so I am not sure how much of a fault the line has. Either way you'll need to engage Sky support on this and tell them you have a unstable line.

 Been having the same issue for 6 weeks....so far technical dept. have sent two new routers....made no difference. At one point I was asked to remove the network cable from router and ont and fit it the other way round!
The sky network engineers can see no fault so will not send an openreach engineer out. Spent 2 hours on phone to sky tech last night....they still say no issue that they can see....at the same time my speedtest is showing less than 1mb ( I have fibre100).

 

today I have solved the problem....cancelled sky, they allowed me to do this f.o.c, as I have 'speed issues on my line'..Virgin coming in a week to install their fibre.....and it's only £23.50 for  125mb. Result!

 

if you can't go through the problem, go round it!
