Ethernet says no internet and is unidentified
I turned on my pc today and my ethernet has suddenly become an "Unidentified Network" and has no internet access. My wireless wifi is completely fine but ethernet won't work.
I contacted microsoft support which went on for about 3 hours, they reset everything including the network and asked if i was willing to factory reset which i happily declined.
I have a Proton VPN where, before all the shenanigans microsoft did on screen share, if i was to connect to a Netherlands server then my ethernet would work and would stop working when i disconnected. This now no longer works after the network resets by the microsoft agent.
I have changed cable, restarted everything, restarted router, etc. I do have a booster as my router is far away but i have also changed that to a different one i had in the house and still the same.
Any opinions or fixes?

Re: Ethernet says no internet and is unidentified
@AydinSen you mention a booster have you run the ethernet cable from there or from the hub?
Check that the network settings on the PC are showing the correct gateway address which should be 192.168.0.1 and the IP address the PC usescis in the range 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.253 and if you are using a fixed IP address that you have reserved the address in the hub's interface..
