Email saying we are still using an old hub

Hi,

I recieved them email below from Sky. Has anyone else been sent this? I'm confused as we had a new hub sent in February this year when we switched over to Sky Fibre. Is this hub already out of date?

"It looks like you’re using one of our older Sky Broadband hubs. Whilst the hub continues to keep you connected to the internet, it no longer receives service and security updates. Or, depending on your hub type, will stop receiving service and security updates from 31st December 2025.

According to our records, we’ve previously sent you a newer hub to use. We strongly recommend that you switch from your old hub to the newer one we sent to ensure you receive the latest updates."

That email is from Sky so I would have thought the one you have is fine so do you know what one you have got ?

Its the Sky Hub model SR203, we've only had it anout three months

If thst is the one known at the 4.2 hub then it is fine as it is the one I got earlier in the year via the replacement program

they are running.

I have received the same email.

We recently upgraded to Fibre (Sky forced us to) but we still have the old Hub.

I guess we have to return it but why didn't Sky automatically sent us packaging and labels as they knew this would happen?

I think it is known as the 4.2, so it must be fine - thank you!

I didn't recieve any packaging or labels for ours, I still have it waiting for them to request it back!
