Eero 6 mesh system over VDSL

Hi all,

I have an Asus RT-AC88u paired with a Vigour 130 modem using Option 61 etc...

Two "slave" routers are fed off this router via home plugs, one in the hall and another in a bedroom (this is a very old house with thick walls, overall surface area isn't the issue for signal).

This setup works fine for the main router, but main times I am faced with dropouts from the other two routers, I presume the home plugs (different brands) are clashing.

I would love to run an ethernet cable to a switch in a space under the stairs, feed the two routers off this, but there is a lot of work involved in laying this line.

So, I have looked to the Eero 6 mesh system. I read that all I need is my Sky router (never out of the box) in modem mode, and away I go. I would like to keep at least some of the old system, certainly the Vigour 130. Am I clutching at straws, or is this something that can be configured to work with the Eero 6 system?

Sorry for the long post, I thought it best to explain the setup I have and my thought process in considering this alternative!
