EERO with gifafast ONT

Hey guys,

I'm seeing a lot of posts on this with varying answers but has anyone actually managed to run EERO directly to the city fibre ONT and remove the gigafast plus box as I can't seem to pull it off?

I understand sky use the option 61 which eero doesn't support but I have read that the city fibre doesn't need this like open reach did although I don't know how true that is, any help would be appreciated, I've tried the double NAT route but I have complaing kids saying games are lagging!

@Adrian+Ferrante Have you tried the factory reset to your EERO router with it connected direct on the CF ONT and going from that point with setting it up!

@Adrian+Ferrante Eero syystems definitly do not support Sky's default authentication system of DHCPv4 Option61. However 100% of City Fibre lines support the secondsry system DHCPv6 PD which only works on 80% of Openreach lines so if Eero can be configured to use that it will work. Eero are bad at providing technical support but I have not seen anyone saying that can bbe done.

Connecting the Eero behind a Sky hub will defintely work but will cause  double network address translation which causes far fewer issues than most people think.
