Hi I am a Sky broadband and TV customer. I have a TV with Sky router and Q box in the living room which never has any issues.
But the Wifi in my office upstairs and in my daughters room upstairs at the back of the house is poor to the poor that it's almost non existent. I've tried boosters which don't really do much.
Plus my Sky Mini box at the back of the house (quite far from router) also suffers from regular lagging / buffering and issues where the connection fails completely.
I've been investigating an EERO mesh system to fix the wifi issues but I've read that the mesh system is not compatible with Sky Mini Q boxes.
I'm not technical, just want a quick and easy solution as it's getting increasingly frustrating.
thank you in advance!

Find out moreThe mesh system isnt compatible in the sense that you cant connect Sky Q mini boxes to anything other than another Q product so putting in an Eero mesh system wont fix the Q mini issues unless you can hardwire the Q mini box to one of the mesh nodes.
If you are having issues with the Q mini then you should contact Sky because they will supply a Q booster if its required which should solve the mini issue as well as provide a stronger connection for your devices in those rooms.

@jamesn123 @Thank you for your response.
i will speak to Sky and enquire about improving the mini box connection
the wifi upstairs could still do with being improved via a mesh system.
if I get any to fix the mini q box issue could I still get a mesh system as well (which would interact with everything except the Q boxes)?

@jamesn123 Is that usually easy enough to do for a technophobe like me when setting up a mesh system? 😀
