EERO Pro 6E and Sky Q - Best Setup
I appreciate this question has been asked before but I can't find anything too definitive in recent months.
I've purchased 3 x EERO Pro 6E boxes and want to set them up with my Sky broadband router and Sky Q main box and mini box. I have the gigafast broadband package.
I currently have a Tenda mesh system that is a good few years old but I've always had 2 wi-fi signals transmitted and I imagine that's not ideal or optimal for the fastest speeds.
I'm thinking the wi-fi on the Sky router could be disabled to allow the EERO system be the wifi and do its thing but not sure how that will work with the mini box upstairs.
Is there a definitive way to set it all up that works? Googling suggests a number of ways to do it without any real evidence that they work / are the correct way to do it.

Re: EERO Pro 6E and Sky Q - Best Setup
Can be done in a few ways really...
1. Disable WiFi on your Sky hub and deploy the Eero system, then connect your Q boxes to the Eero directly. In this deployment you want to make sure you disable the hotspot feature on your Sky Q boxes so they don't join the mesh and start providing less optimal signals for your devices.
2. Disable WiFi on your Sky Hub & on your Q boxes. This deployment is the same as above except one change where you disable WiFi on your Q boxes as well. This solution is only possible if you can connect all Q boxes via ethernet.
3. Maintain WiFi on your Sky hub to connect the Q boxes to, then deploy a seperate network on your Eero system for all other devices. This solution can be achieved providing you ensure the Sky Hubs WiFi & Sky Q's WiFi channels are set differently to your Eeros.
