There are three settings that are important.
The IP address, the subnet mask and the address of the default gateway.
It is possible these have been assigned by DHCP from your old router - I presume you have power cycled your camera since you get the Sky Hub?
If that doesn't work you could set the Sky Hub to have the same values as your old BT router
(I have a feeling that the IP address of the BT router is normally 192.168.1.254)

Hi Thanks,
my cctv reboots once a week by default so yes it will have. I will force a reboot though when I get home just to be sure. I think it may have bee assigned 192.168.0.2 as there is an unrecognised device registered to that ip. Tried browsing this from my laoptop but no connection though.

Hi Steve,
Not faulting SKY, "much", but they keep dissapointing me time and time again...
Sky's engineer's and open reach all have stated sky has limitations and ironically SKY's simcard network is equally shocking...I wont go into detail but the sky engineer admitted she had rubbish reception and cut offs and thats why she's switched to vodaphone.
Another shocker is that her profile miraculously dissapeared from trace and my profile had suddenly dissapeard 15 years ago
Sad really, Been with sky for 17-18 years and they've never been honest with me from the get-go
Sky enginner lady said SKY's call handler never told her the truth as to why her account, her profile vanished from trace?
DDNS is also only limited, and having tested the only 3 options available, only 2 work in the router's drop down menu and only one of those has a "limited" free option...so basically, one only?
And before 'Jamesn123' superuser quotes me on "this being a serious accusation" I now have a sky engineer who can vouch for me, not only that back in october 2012 a sky employee 'Steven Lee' breached sky's company's rules and shared details of a users profile. Not only that there was a 'flaw in sky's routers' back in 2021 and this happened to me several weeks back, here is my recent thread covering this, https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/I-m-at-risk/m-p/4295130#M335516
To be honest, I doubt i'll be with sky much longer. I need to sort a few things out before I take my leave but i've never been satisfied with the constant excuses and lies fed to me.
