Does Sky have a mobile broadband service?
I have previously had Sky TV, phone and Broadband at my mother's house until she passed away in December 2024. Obviously, because I live in another part of the country and have Sky at my address, I cancelled all subscriptions. I am now going to spend every 4 weeks at my mother's house and do not want to subscribe to a contract that locks me in for 2 years when 50% will never be used. I am aware that there are mobile broadband providers but have never been able to get any sense out of the telephone people abroad that Sky insist on using when I ring up to ask a question. Does anyone know? If no, I have heard that maybe geting a donggle may be a solution? I am not very savvy when it comes to techy stuff and would only need some sort of wifi set up that allows emails/internet searching etc.
Many thanks in anticipation
Ian

No Sky don't offer this. Your best option would be to search mobile broadband on google, there is plenty of providers that do it.

Re: Does Sky have a mobile broadband service?
Thanks James,
I think I had already come to the conclusion that Sky only do for the masses. I am going to give a company called Befibre a chance and go with one of their rolling monthly contracts for £32 per month. The coverage is pretty good and so after one month if I don't like I can ditch them and find an alternative.
I appreciate you coming back and saving me a load of hassle with Sky operators that I can hardly understand what they are saying
