Which Hub model have you bought?

 Sky Broadband Hubs and Max Hubs are loaned to Sky subscribers and so shouldn't be available second hand.  Q Hubs are becoming obsolete, and so not a wise investment.

Those only function as designed when ordered directly from Sky: you'll never see the settings appear in the My Sky app otherwise.

I'm afraid you'll need to arrange a return to the vendor or raise a dispute with eBay: a Max Hub just shouldn't be on sale.

@John479

You may actually be better off. If the Hub doesn't get associated with your account then hopefully it won't get locked down either. So you can maybe access & manage ye olde way through a web browser.

Re: Do need to tell Sky Iv purchased a new hub

Thank you. Was it just plug and play and connect to the new SSID?

I take it can access settings via 192.168.0.1 as normal if needed just no settings via my sky? (Dont have them on current router so hopefully wont miss this feature)

Thanks again

@ml2912

May be better to change the SSID & password to match the old router, then everything should just reconnect.
