Do Sky buyout BT broadband contracts?

Hi 

Does anyone know if sky buyout customers who are tied in to a BT broadband contract at all?

Note the important caveat that the customer has to pay the ISP they are leaving with whatever amount that ISP demands as a penalty fee: Sky then credits the new broadband account up to the £100 maximum, and never transfers actual cash to their new user.
