I have just ordered Sky landline and broadband (no TV). I'm assuming that I don't need a satellite dish for this, but wanted to be sure.

If you don't have sky q or freesat then you don't need a satellite dish

Sky is not a satellite ISP: such things certainly exist, but their services are considerably more expensive than fixed-line suppliers, and typically limited in both speed and data volume allowance.
