Do I need a landline for sky tv?

Hi

I have Sky tv, and broadband with Talk Talk, as my contract is coming to an end, I can get a cheaper deal with either Sky broadband, or NOW broadband (powered by Sky) My question is, do I still need a 'landline' connection to keep the Sky tv connected?

You need a data bearer ( copper or fibre) for broadband and receive a phone number. If you don't use a landline then choose the pay as you talk tariff. No calls no charges

Just to clarify you need need the data bearer for the catch up side of sky q, for sky stream and sky glass and of course broadband  but you don't need  a phone
