I set up my new sky router today as I have changed sky contracts. I used tohave the old lay flat router and have been sent a stand up one.
In the past I have had no issues connecting devices to the broadband but as of today my sonos speaker and my ring doorbell are completly refusing to connect to the router. I have seen other articles on here regarding splitting the 2.4GHz and 5GHz into separate networks but this doesn't seem to have worked either.
Is there a maor difference between the lay flat and stand up routers that is causing the issue? In which case should I return everything to my previous router or is there something else I can do because I am completely at a loss?

I don't believe so. Need to return old Sky Q boxes but I don't think I was asked for the router.

Unless you have 'internet call' where your 'phone handset connects to the Sky Hub, you could swap back to the Sky Q Hub
