Dead patches of broadband in small mid terrace

we live in a modest 3 bed mid terrace (1960's). And in the upstairs bedrooms and some spots downstairs the broadband drops out. We've got 2 sky range extenders but am being charged for them as of next month. We are looking at other range extenders that I don't have to pay a monthly subscription for but I don't understand if I can with my sky router. These are my WiFi stats I pulled. Can anyone advise what I can do to improve my WiFi range?

Re: Dead patches of broadband in small mid terrace

@Wattlepops Whereabouts have you located the extenders (Sky tend to call them boosters, assuming they are white boxes)? Is there any way you can use either a cable (assuming they have ports on as some of the newer ones don't), or use powerline adaptors?

From the router stats there is nothing wrong with your actual line/connection, so it's the WiFi enviroment locally causing issues. A lot of people make the mistake of putting the boosters in the room they have the weak signal in, but they need to be postioned ideally half way between there and the main router, otherwise they are only receiving the same weak signal any device in that room is getting which doesn't help, if anything it makes things worse.
