Damager Openreach fibre when Sky broadband was installed

An engineer installing Sky (via CityFibre) FTTP has deliberately damaged my existing Openreach fibre – specifically the cable between the external grey box and the ONT (modem) inside my home.

If I decide to switch back to the Openreach network in the future, will I need to pay to have this connection repaired myself, or can I leave it for now and expect Openreach to repair it for free when I return?

@User30  Anything outside the property is Openreach's responsibility, if a 3rd party caused damage any repairs should not be charged to you.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@User30 You have no one to get it fixed as only an ISP can arrange that, so unless you get CF Installer to fess up you are left stuck, OR will expect a working system no matter what, they are only going to disconnect the line to stop use off it as no longer requiring the connection!
