Hi!
I moved home last year, and set up a new Sky broadband package. This involved Sky sending someone from Open Reach to install an external broadband cable. Unfortunately, not only was the cable was installed through our neighbour's garden without their consent, the installation also left their fence damaged and in need of replacing.
I contacted Sky at the time, who said it is Open Reach's responsibility. However when I contacted Open Reach, they said I "would need to get in touch with a service provider and they would need to raise a quality issue into us on your behalf. The reason this has to go through your service provider is due to the work being completed on their behalf."
Neither company seem to be taking responsibility - any advice?
Thank you

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf Sky won't take details for this to be passed to Openreach you may need to submit a complaint

As this appears to have happened some time ago I'm surprised it's dragged on so long.
