Cut off broadband

I was cancelling my sky broadband but changed my mind on the 5th Nov I told sky that I changed my mind and other provider too so other provider cancelled it yet sky still went ahead and cut off my broadband today now they are saying they can't find my account and will have to wait 72hrs until they contact me yet it takes a minute to cut off and don't know how long to get reconnected again and they will gave to send an engineer out yet my sky broadband was working fine up until they disconnected it

Yes, that's typically correct.  Cancelling a cancellation is inherently risky.

Well it doesnt take a min does it. Why do you think you have to give notice for a cancellation? Sky have to cancel down the connection within their systems & an Openreach engineer has to out to your local cabinet and disconnect you so it isnt as simple as just flicking a switch.
