Cost of a landline, @ £17 p.c.m.!!??
Why is my landline this expensive? I do not use the landline for anything, your mobiles only, I do realise that there May!? be some sort of charge for this, but surely should be included in the new cost of the New broadband fitted?!

Sky bundle the line into your broadband package, assuming you have this as part of a broadband package. There is zero cost for line rental.
If you have opted for a calls inclusive package this may be what you are being charged for.
Sky will be able to advise if you contact them, this is a customer to customer forum.

I remember the Internet starting!
Sky Full Fibre & Virgin Media XGS-PON, with automatic failover using DrayTek multi WAN router.
Sky Q, which will be sadly missed when they decide to kill it off!

@fb6
You aren’t communicating with Sky by posting on here. This is a customer ➡️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers.
Sky Talk is bundled together with Sky Broadband. Just make sure you're on the Sky Pay As You Talk tariff (call Sky if you're not). That way if you make no calls there are no Sky Talk charges. (The Pay As You Talk tariff is the default tariff when you join).
