I have been using our work ike v2 VPN on my Sky broadband for a number of years and never had an issue connecting, since yesterday it has stopped working, after speaking with our IT department they cant find any issues at their end and have made no configuration changes, they have also had the same fault reported with 5 other users and all have sky broadband at home, if i tether off my phone i can connect fine so its definitely not an issue with the VPN, the IT department have also checked the firewall traffic and cant see any activity when i try to connect so it seems its not even getting that far, the only thing that seems to have changed in all circumstances is the external IP address, ive tried disconnecting Sky Shield and also adding a dedicated firewall rule to my router but still the same, just wondered if anyone else has come across this before?

This was fixed by getting a new external IP address, to do this it was simply a matter of powering off the sky router for an hour then powering it back on, new IP has no issues with the VPN so obviously the old one had been blacklisted or had some restrictions in place
