Cooling off period, can i switch providers?

Persuaded to upgrade to sky max, wifi is worse than previous black hub, won't connect to app so can't connect pod.....rang multiple times, done reset reinstall app multiple times...I'm getting nowhere, still not working, various sky staff have promised to call back, none have.

I've had enough now, almost 2weeks of this and hours on the phone to them.

I now want to get rid and switch to new provider, can I do this without penalty?

Been a sky customer for 12 years and I'm disgusted.

@Oldbutnotstupid NO! You do need to go read, but as an existing sky customer you will find i think that all the cooling off does not apply!

@Oldbutnotstupid Below is the link to the sky terms and conditions, and if you wish then call sky to see if you can move penalty free!

Re: Cooling off period, can i switch providers?

So I have just spoken to Sky cancellations, I recorded the call for proof against future denials from sky.

I can indeed dump sky and switch my broadband within 31 days of the new contract without any penalties....I shall be contacting new provider tomorrow to arrange the switch, just wanted to put this here so that others who are having issues know that it's possible to cancel extremely bad service . After 12 years with sky I am done.

@Oldbutnotstupid If you need the help link but use the OTS service for your new provider.
