Contract length and renewal

Hi
My current contract ends on 23/07/2022, and the renewal options are for a 18 month minium with the price to continue to increase. Since I'm moving home in about 4 months, I want to cancel my sky subscription then. How can I renew my current contract now for a short lenght contract?

If you do not renew the contract for a lengthy one (do nothing), then it rolls over in 30-day contract periods. Once you decided to leave and don't want broadband at all with any provider you need to phone Sky to cancel. Otherwise, if you need broadband but are moving to a new provider on the BT Openreach network then it is best to do a migration by contacting the new provider and they will handle the process completely and inform Sky of the cancellation when the new provider has taken over the line.
