Contract have ended, this means your bill has increased, but we can help

I get an email to say that my Sky TV and Sky broadband supernatural contracts have ended.

This means that your bill has increased.

But we can help.

I click on the link - not helpful, no idea where to go.

Click on online chat, what a waste of space that is.

Not everyone is savvy with online tech.

My monthly bill is expensive every month, can't believe it's going up again.

How can Sky advertise cheap deals on the telly,  yet a loyal customer of 17 years, is getting ripped off.

@JosieJosieJo You can do it the old fashioned way by just calling sky CS and talking over your options, just have all your details to hand and have the idea what is good and right for you! 150 from your landline phone, or the link below but just click the need more help to see the number....

@JosieJosieJo

Firstly, I presume you are satisfied that email in really from Sky?

Better discounts are offered to new customers as an incentive for them to join.

If you choose to jump ship and go with another provider then in 18/24 months you'll be in the same position with that provider and if you want you'll be able to return to Sky as a new customer.

🔹

If your discounted minimum term has ended or its ending soon the best new discounts are still normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract. Recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new customer so expecting anything close to a new customer deal is unrealistic.

@adcol If you want to see your contract you will need to look on your account to see it, not in the community!
