Constantly losing connection to new sky hub

Just had the new sky hub installed last week with full fibre - what a mistake that was! Really wish I just kept my old one, this has been a nightmare constantly losing connection, walk 5 metres into a bedroom and the signal goes.  I only live in a small two bed flat the hub sits in a table in the hall middle of the home, I've had broadband here for years and years and this has NEVER happened before, so angry with myself for listening to sky/openreach believing that this would make everything quicker and better it's a load of frustrating rubbish!!!
