Consistent Disconnects and Slow Speeds at random

My broadband consistently dops its connection (like someone has pulled the cable) from either the hub to wired devices, or to sky itself. When disconnects are not the issue, there is a low speed to the router of 2mb/s which is far beyond what Sky guarantee

Nothing is downloading, nothing is streaming and even with wifi off and just one wired device connected, this still happens.

When the disconnect occurs, the router still talks to sky but not the wireless or the wired devices.

This happens on a daily basis.

I had an engineer out who has tested my line etc and everything came back fine my end. The router has been factory reset

I have one of the new square white routers (which coincidentally the engineer said they dont have troubleshooting tools for yet so had to use the older black router).

The engineer tried to say it was a WPA setting on the router causing the issue, which i concede would effect wireless devices but not wired, and even once checked it was on the default wpa2.

Speaking to an advisor on the phone was abysmal, they were more interested in watching tv and talking to their friend (they had me on loudspeaker) and i had to fight to get someone to come look at my property. His default response was "you can leave if its not good enough and we wont charge you" ... Instead of fixing the problem which i was furious at.

I would like a clear resolution to this problem as downtime as constant and random as this is is unacceptable which im sure Sky would agree.

@Thaddium When you post on the Forum then all you are doing is venting, nothing will happen due to the post as you are only talking to customers like yourself and not anyone at sky!

The About explains it all!
