Considering Sky Ultrafast 900 few questions
Currently with TTB and my contract for FTTC doesn't end til 23 Oct 2026 and early termination fees are £300 is there anyway to recoup the fee with TTB. Only went with TTB for the newtwork but had a few billing problems which eventually got sorted.
Am hoping to use a couple of Panasonic Dect Quads with Sky Talk is it possible to connect 2 base stations to the Sky router possible splitter?
What router is supplied with UltraFast 900 is it the Sky Hub or Max? Was hoping for the Gigafast router but that appears to be only on the City Fibre deals, am I correct?
Think that's it for now. I am sure other questions will pop up.

Re: Considering Sky Ultrafast 900 few questions
@banger the cancellation charges are a contractual matter with your current ISP. Sky do however offer up to £100 credit to customers who switch to them to help, cover such costs see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-credit-offer
The Sky Talk digital line connects using a standard phone socket on the back of the hub so if your two DECT systems work using a splitter on an analogue phone socket I cantvthink why it wouldn't work but it isnt something I think Sky can guarantee or is that common a requirment but for what it is worth my own 4 unit Panasonic DECT system works well.
Sky offer customers no choice on router and currently supply the older Hub 4.2 SR203 black Broadband hub and the newer Hub6 SR213 white Sky Max hub according to what stock they hsve. If you buy their add-on Sky WiFi Max package that includes the white hub. The new hub 7 is only supplied to Gigafast+ (2.5 or 5Gb/s) customers whiich requires a City Fibre line. In praxtice the hub4 while being limited to WiFi5 speeds is more than capable of delivering 500Mb/s in the area near the hub and the range is very similar. The gain with the Hub6 is therefore in practice minimal. I have used both on my 500Mb/s connection.
The expander pods Sky supply for either the Hub6 or Hub7 are also WiFi5..
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: Considering Sky Ultrafast 900 few questions
@Chrisee many thanks for that. How does the SR203 work connecting to the ONT as it doesn't seem to have a WAN port according to the connection instructions?

Re: Considering Sky Ultrafast 900 few questions
Thanks @JimM1 can you use your own router. I have 3 Asus RT-AC68U in mesh which works well on FTTC. All my gear is WIFI 5 so a SR203 would be ok. Might go for 500 after all 900 is probably over the top with the router and my current setup.

Re: Considering Sky Ultrafast 900 few questions
@banger Do not see why not, have my Asus XT8 direct on the Ethernet to the ONT, and NO sky equipment connected at all, sitting in there boxes to come out only at sky request which should be never, you lose everything sky wise but not needed! Need to go take a quick look at your Asus! Just as i thought fairly old Routers from Asus but sure they are still functional!
Personally think FF900 is a waste off money no matter what and too many freak out when they I pay for 900Mb/s so i better get it, so what they need a better understanding off how server's work/internet backbone etc etc etc, FF500 lowest sustained to date 200Mb/s, but home is covered at that speed rate!

@JimM1 Thanks for that just need to think on if to take the £200 hit from previous supplier or wait til Oct 26. Yes the AC68U is fairly old but works with my setup.
