Hi since I have received the new Sky hub 4.2
my nest cam has had connection issues. The router is only approx 5 meters away from the nest cam on the ground floor.
It is lacking connectivity most of the time and the signal is weak.
has anyone experienced the same?
the previous router worked fine with my nest cam

I would split the bands first then, if that makes no difference then I would explore booster options.
The steps for splitting the WiFi bands can be found here; https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/How-to-separate-WiFi-bands/ba-p/3530610

Is there any other device suffering the same issue? Have you tried splitting the WiFi bands to see if that helps the issue?

Thanks for your reply @jamesn123
I haven't tried splitting the wifi bands. Is that easy to do?
I had read a discussion about wifi boosters also. Do you think that would be better?

I am not sure a booster would help if the camera is only 5m away from the router. Are they on the same floor/ in the same room or not? What is between them?

Re: Connectivy issues with new sky hub 4.2 and Nestcam
@jamesn123 the router is in the living room at the front of the house. There is a door way into the hall then another door way into the down stairs toilet room where the nestcam wifi unit is. Both are situated at the front of the house. I have tried moving the router where possible to see if it makes any difference but still inconsistency with the connectivity
