Do you know what's strange about this. It isn't just with arlo. Recently my ring doorbell, ring outdoor cameras and ring chime pro has all done the exact same thing. It reduced the Wi-Fi speed to near 60mbps and below on each speed test.
I had to remove all these devices and isolate while testing each individual thing when pairing back everything else.
Could be a industry wide software issue with these devices or sky has updated the router and something has happened to their connectivity.

Apologes if duplicate, same issues until I reset the doorbell and then it connected and updated firmware.

Hi - I've still not got round to contacting Arlo - it's ridiculous how their online help chat is Mon-Fri 9am-5pm! Can I ask how you reset your doorbell please, as I tried this before and it didn't work? As willing to give it last one shot. Thanks

Hey I used the silver pin for removing the back cover, there is a small hole below the 2 connections on the back. Leave battery jn and then put pin into the hole....hold for few seconds and light on front flashes quickly. That reset mine and it connected right away. Hope t works 👍

Hi Recently got the ARLO Chime 2,
same issue as what was experienced and explained by Vijay,
Swicthes off my Wi-fie when trying to connect and after trying for about 10 seconds, says cannot connect.
funily enough my Arlso Camera's & Door bell all works fine.
Any solutions would be welcome.

Same here. Just switched from virgin to sky's best fiber package. Doorbell won't work. Arlo camera and hub works fine.
I've turned 5ghz off and am just running on the 2ghz as required. Still won't connect.
Any solutions?

I've recently moved from Virgin to Sky and had the same problem but I've finally figured out how to connect. Following these steps:
1. In the Arlo app go into each previously connected devices and click remove device.
2. Then add your device through through the Arlo app as if you were installing it for the first time. (You don't need to turn the 5GHz off on the router).
Hope this helps anyone.
