Hello,
Almost a month ago, engineers installed Sky full fibre 150 Mbps for me. Everything is set up and working, new full fibre line installed, connected, but I'm experiencing internet outages, even though the My Sky app shows that there are no problems and the speed is around 150 Mbps and everything is ticked as green (working).
Unfortunately, quite often during normal use and browsing the internet, web pages load very slowly for such bandwidth. So, I decided to check the ping to the Google website while using the browser, and it looks something like this, where each "Request timed out" corresponds to a delay in internet loading.

I would also like to add that this happens with any website, and everyone in the household is having issues with Wi-Fi; it keeps disconnecting, and the internet on mobile devices like smartphones is very unstable. There is a connection, but the pages do not load or load not fully after long time.
When playing games (connected via ethernet cable to my pc ) , if there is no network traffic (downloading/uploading), the ping is stable, and there are no disconnections or ping disrupt. This only happens when browsing the internet or downloading. The problem seems to be getting worse day by day. So, I decided to buy a new router because it might be the router's fault. I think this because before installing Sky Ultrafast Full Fibre 150 Mbps, we had internet via a phone line with 30 Mbps, and the router might just be too weak for such bandwidth? (Please don't laugh, it's just my guess! 😊)
Has anyone experienced this issue and knows a solution? If not, I'll have to call customer service and request a Sky engineer.
My question is, could the new router I ordered solve the problem?
The new router will be ASUS RT-AX58U V2 WIFI 6 AX3000.
Thanks
Greetings
