Hello.
New issue. I have the 900mbps broadband package, obviously much less than that to my devices but still well into the 400-500mbps range over WiFi.
Recently my internet has started cutting out when downloading large files (games) on both my PC and PS5 over ethernet. I have tried different ethernet cables, same issue. When downloading over WiFi I don't have this issue - the internet stays up and the download finishes without any trouble.
When this happens I can get a few minutes into the download and all the lights on my router go off, with the power light going red. I wait a few minutes and it comes back on by itself, but cuts out again when the download is resumed.
I think the router is at fault and have tried getting into a live chat or messaging service to no avail.
Has anyone else had this issue and can anyone confirm the router is at fault?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Derek8520 if the Sky hub is rebooting on its own and you haven't got dodgy mains power it means the unit is faulty. You need to report this to Sky not surprised you could bot get onto the chat services over the holiday but Sky should be back to full staffing today. Calling them is usually quicker if you use your Sky Talk line dial 150 for a free call.
