Connecting to main hub rather than extender

I have a main sky hub/eouter and a pod/extender ln an outhouse via a cat6 Ethernet cable.

some devices will not connect to the stronger signal in the outhouse and stays connected to the main router, in the house,  there isn't an option to choose the pod/extender with the strongest signal when in the outhouse.

This is an issue I have with a laptop and Nintendo switch any ideas/help welcome

thanks

@G-star Try when you are next to the pod, stop the wireless wi-fi signal on the device, give it a minute and wireless connection back on and see if it then connects to the pod at that point!

Re: Connecting to main hub rather than extender

@G-star Asus laptop i have only thing that help was the Aggressive roaming feature in the driver, devices go where they want to go, so apart from using a different AP and getting it working then you are stuck, outhouse's may not even supported by sky unless attached to the main property so don't expect any help that way and there is no way to stear a device to a particular Hub/pod! You could try forget the wi-fi connection and reconnect while at the pod to see what happens, just reboot the device once you forget it so it does clear out if it can!

Had a look back at your old post's from Oct2024 what decision's and testing have you done since that point!
