Connecting to Locally Hosted Servers No Longer Works

I locally host a couple of servers for things like Jellyfin and Teamspeak. When my friend tried to connect to Teamspeak yesterday it would not connect. I have checked several different ways of connecting to things to try and narrow down the issue:

  • Connecting to either server locally from my computer over LAN works.
  • Connecting to either server from my computer using the public IP address (address was double and triple checked) does not work.
  • Connecting to Jellyfin from mobile internet using the public IP address works.
  • Connecting to Jellyfin using Tor (traffic is rerouted through other connections) works.
  • Temporarily disabling all firewalls makes no difference.
  • Disabling Sky Shield (I assume it was on by default when connections previously worked) made no difference.
  • Rerunning the tests this morning to ensure it was not a temporary problem made no difference.

I have had no issue connecting to my servers before this. I have done the connection test on the Sky support pages and it shows no issues.

On a bit of a side note I have also tried Sky support but the chat bot is worse than useless. The live chat with a person says it is currently unavailable despite the opening times starting about 45 minutes ago.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.
