Connecting amazon basics smart plugs via Alexander to My sky wifi
I can't connect an amazon basics plug to my sky WiFi because they are 2.4ghz and my WiFi has 5ghz and 2.4ghz .but I have no name or password for 2.4 band only the 5hz band. How do I connect to 2.4gh band to allow me to connect the amazon basics plug.

Do you have a white or a black Sky Hub?
Black Hubs permit the bands to be separated and renamed, but the white Max Hub does not.

Thanks for your reply. I have a white one and have heard you can lower the security level to connect 24ghz gadgets to connect. Is this safe and can I reset higher security afterwards if it works.
