Connecting a second WiFi router to the sky router via WiFi in bridge mode

I'm trying I connect my NETGEAR R6400 WiFi hub to my sky hub, and use the NETGEAR hub in bridge mode so as to set up a wired network upstairs in my home. I can't run cables around the house so bridge mode is the best way to get a wired connection action upstairs from the sky hub downstairs.

I have setup the NETGEAR in bridge mode but once the NETGEAR reboots  after enabling and setting up the bridge mode, I have no connection to the web.

can anyone provide any help??

Hi @golfguy208

Just trying to understand what exactly you are doing & trying to achieve... Is the Netgear router connected to the Sky hub via ethernet or are you attempting to get it in some sort of WiFi repeater setup?

As for bridge mode, I think you may have a mixed up understanding of what this. Bridge mode is designed for a perimeter router to bridge traffic to another internal router. However your Sky hub is your perimeter router so your trying to enable bridge mode on your Netgear hub and essentially bridging the traffic to nothing as you don't have another router ontop of the Netgear one. You'll want to run your Netgear router in either Router mode or AP mode.
