I would like to attach my 2Tb hard drive to my router but the Sky Hub doesnt have a USB port. I know that the long-term solution involves buying a NAS but at the moment I don't have the funds or the space for one.
Could I use the cable below to attach the hard drive (which has a USB C port) to the Sky Hub please? Thanks.

No: that's just a USB-C to ethernet cable to enable a USB-C device with its own operating system (such as a modern Apple laptop) to plug into a wired network. It cannot provide a standard 'dumb' USB-C external hard-drive with NAS-like capabilities: this requires a hosting operating system (typically embedded Linux) on an SoC (CPU/RAM) controller board inside the drive enclosure, which is why NAS boxes are significantly more expensive than external USB boxes.

Thanks, I had a feeling that would be the case but just wanted to check.
