Collection of Ethernet cables and no full fibre contract - Over to BT I think enough is enough!

Issue with my order......order cancelled.......Argh! Several hours of my life wasted, numerous call centres.....and I now have a collection of three Ethernet cables....fourth on its' way in the post and still Sky cannot upgrade me to Full Fibre....So many discounts applied now to my contract that they will be paying me soon.......Sky have esclated this internally and still they cannot get a new order to sticlk. Maybe they should actually ring Openreach and ask them why they cannot fulfil this order. I am giving sky until 2pm tomorrow and then have callback from BT to move over to their full fibre. IMG_3240.jpg

Hi @Arm

This can sometimes happen if Openreach forsee an issue with the FTTP deployment in your area. Whether that be access issues, over capacity or whatever. If you go to this site & use the address checker, then post the resulting table & test below the table back here we can see if there is any indicators as to why this may be happening.

Hi @Arm

The important text there is 'OH Feed alternate L2C solution required'

This suggests that a normal install is not possible with your premises, usually because the pole is not suitable for climbing, or a ladder can not be securely attached to your premises.

Usually this means Openreach need to send a specialist team with a cherry picker or mobile scaffolding

However the above does not explain why your order is being cancelled completely.
