can I collect my broadband instead of waiting for delivery?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Alelsheikh assuming you sre talking about the Sky hub these are sent by post to arrive a couple of days before the service goes live. If the packet cannot be delivered the postman should leave a card telling you where you can collect it from. Royal Mail dont give the option of collection until after the first delivery attempt.

Note it's not possessing the ISP router which enables broadband at the address: it's the work which is booked by the ISP for the network maintainer (Openreach/OpenEIR) to carry out that does this. Having a router earlier doesn't get you a connection quicker.
