Cheaper broadband if on benefit

Martin money saver man on tv/internet has made it clear that people on benefits can get cheaper broad band internet.

i spoke with Sky and they advised that is on universal credit you can get the fee for £20 per month,

if not in universal cxredit but other benefits it's £24 per month

but it doesn't state that anywhere on the website

This link explains the process if you’re eligible for Sky Broadband Basics. If you are eligible you will need to call Sky to join

The Sky account holder needs to be claiming Universal Credit or Pension Credit to qualify for it. Sky would require the relevant NI number so they can check. It is only available to customers who already have Sky Broadband.
