Changing from Vodafone broadband to Sky broadband

I have arranged to change from my current Vodafone fibre broadband to Sky broadband next week. Does anyone know if Sky just take over the existing line which Vodafone has in place? Vodafone have told me I do not need to do anything is sky take over the existing line but if there is a new line installed I would have to provide Vodafone with 30 days notice. I can't find the I formation anywhere but from my knowledge both just use the existing open reach lines

As it stands you will need to contact virgin seperately allowing a bit of overlap in case openreach are delayed
