Change password for router from sky 12 characters

I can access the router page by typing 192.168.0.1. When I try to change the sky 12 character password to my own it comes up with error 404. Page not found. Is there any way round this please

@bplh  Are you accessing by wifi or ethernet?  Ethernet would be best.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@bplh

Unfortunately using Safari wirelessly is the least likely way to be successful with Hub administration.

@bplh if you have the newer SR203 hub the admin password has to meet Sky's password rules of a minimum 10 characters with both upper and lower case letters and at least one number. Oddly the default value which is the same as the 12 digit WIFI passcode doesnt actually meet that rule. Took me some laterally thinking to find a memorable password for my own system.

The points about getting any change to router settings to stick requiring the right browser and ideally over ethernet apply.

Re: Change password for router from sky 12 characters

Thanks. That makes sense.  I was using 8 letters and no numbers.
