@Skystreamuser you will find that it is a common feature on newer routers that caan use the higher 5GHz channels. It is something forced by the need to mert regulation.

Nice feature" then, can't manually adjust the setting to meet your needs.
My internet is constantly dropping down during the day making work from home and online meeting with customers a nightmare, changing to low crowded channel would be a possible solution but no! Hub knows better.
