Google play store updates are in pending state for very long time

@sathishS there have been other similar reports so I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

I have the same issue, it's very frustrating. I've not seen anything from Sky either to acknowledge it!

I am also experiencing exactly this issue with Sky/Youtube. No issues at all on all devices if using mobile data.

Issue occurs on my mobile phone and tablet, but seems to work fine on a wired connection to a PC. Also YouTube works fine via web browser, just not the app.

 I've got the same issue here. All Google services connect fine if I use a VPN or my mobile data but otherwise YouTube is slow to respond and apps won't update. I've even tried disabling sky shield but that has no effect.

I have the same issue. A few people have reported this so hopefully they are working on a fix.

I was with BT a long time ago and something similar happened. BT refused to admit it was an issue there end even though I proved it was. Sky seem to be better at working things out and being more helpful.

By using sky wifi modem youtube is not working for me and my partner. It is working with mobile data. Any one have face this issues before please let me know how to resolve it.

This has started happening for my partner and my step daughter yesterday. It's been working find until yesterday, now they can't download anything from the play store or stream from YouTube. Works with a vpn, but unfortunately my step daughter hasn't got the vpn and can't download it!

My wife has an Android phone and tablet and has had no problems with either YouTube or the Playstore while using WiFi.

Is this specifically a Sky problem, or an Android version that has caused problems? Because of the multitude of Android devices from different manufacturers on the market, updates can be, I believe, rolled out over months, unlike Apple devices which tend to all have access to updates at the same time.

Same issue for me as well since yesterday. Only seems to work on data and any device using Sky is extremely slow if not working at all

Hi,

I've noticed since yesterday when I watch YouTube shorts or videos the video stops playing after a bit, like it does when connection is weak or starts buffering. It doenst come back on. 

All the above works if I use mobile data. I have tried other home broadbands like BT and Vodafone and it works fine on there too. Not sure how long it's been like this but I noticed it on Friday.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have reset the router and turned it off and on again. It didn't work
