Cant afford bill and need wifi back on due to finaical difficulty

I am in financial difficulty and have cameras on my home due to Domestic violence but need the WiFi on, can't afford the sky bill until 2 days . Also have a disabl3d son who is neurodiverse and relies on the wifi

@Campbell98  Sky won't restore service until the outstanding payment has been made and a new continuous payment setup 

 

this is a standard policy across the board with no exceptions

Sky won’t reinstate services until you’ve paid what is owed and set up a new continuous payment method.

If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well. If you’re in arrears for 56 days or more Sky can fully terminate your subscription. Any calls to Sky will only prompt you to make a payment.

Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date.

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. (Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week).

You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link

@Campbell98 if you are on a means tested benfit like Universal Credit you qualify for Sky's Social Tariff see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-social-tariff

I  would ring sky  and tell them  about your situation with you and your  son and they may be able  to help  you

When services are restricted any calls to Sky will automatically request payment so unfortunately the OP is extremely unlikely to be able to speak with staff.
