I have just upgraded to sky fibre broadband (including the nes router), however the only device I cannot re-connect to the new router is my nest protect product (used for smoke alarm). I have tried most basic things (restarting everything, upgrading the nest app, removing the protect device, resetting settings etc).
I did have a look online and a few people have had issues and suggested enabling IPv6 but this looks to be enabled by default.
Anyone seen this issue before?

Just to add, the nest protect error is
P006(3.10)

One issue some devices encounter is that they are confused by seeing both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz signal with the same network name coming from the Sky Hub.
As posted by @jamesn123
So to split the two channels you need to go to your router config page which can be found by typing 192.168.0.1 into your web browser. To access the page, you'll need;
username: admin
password: sky OR your WiFi password
- Select wireless from the navigation bar and scroll down a little and untick the 'Synchronise 2.4GHz and 5GHz settings'
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit apply.
- Once the page reloads you need to go to the 5GHz wireless settings page on the sub navigation bar below where you click wireless before
- In the 5GHz section you want to go to the box called 'Name (SSID)' and add something like 5g to the end of the current name
- Scroll down and hit apply
- Then on any wireless device you should now see two networks. One network will be the same name as usual and will be 2.4GHz band and the other will be the usual name with 5G on the end (Or whatever you typed). Connect any 5GHz capable device to the 5GHz network and see if it works correctly. The WiFi password should be the same if you havent changed it.

Thanks for the response @TimmyBGood however I am pretty certain this can't be the cause. I had nest protect working fine on my old sky router for about 2 years, this was using the default / standard settings of using both frequencies.
Its also over kill to split the frequencies and force devices onto them. I have over 40 devices in my home, I had to do this once before when I was struggling with signal on my work laptop and sky q hubs started to play up.
There are a couple of forums online that talk about enabling IPv6, but this appears to already enabled by default.
I will keep searching....

Probably too late for you but for others with similar issues my trick is the change both the SSID and password on my new router to match my old one thus saving a lot of hassle in having to re-programme devices and you like you I always have one that wont accept the details.
