New Canon printer, that must connect in via 2.4GHz. Tried numerous times to connect to WiFi router (tried WPS and manually entering router passcode) but no success.
Consulting this forum, it seemed the problem might be oversome by splitting WiFi bands and connecting selectively by 2.4GHz. Have successfully set ip the split frequencies with separate SSIDs.
But no equipment in the house will now connect on the new 2.4GHz network . Have tried by iPhone, MacBookAir, HP laptop and the Canon printer - each gives error message that it cannot join (even if located directly next to the router). The password I'm using is definitely right as I can check it on the 2.4GHz set up page by accessing the Sky Hub via the 5GHz network. It hasn't been changed and is still working with the 5GHz network.
Not sure what to try next.

@Highlinder Yes thank you, I'd already done that, following that exact link. Joining the new 5GHz band is no problem for phone / HP laptop / macbook. But none of our devices will connect to the 2.4GHz band - which is the only one suitable for the printer - all get "unable to join" error messages.

If all off your devices are connecting on the 5Ghz band and you are not having issues with them
then leave them there, seperation of the 2 band's is to try and get the printer onto the 2.4Ghz band
and printer's are one of the most/hardest devices on wireless WiFi to get working as the sometimes
just don't want to play ball......

Hi there @Highlinder
I'm having the same kind of issue. Switched recently to Sky and now my Pixma G4511 wireless printer won't print. I'd like to try to set it to 2.4 GHz to see if that might help, as per the previous inquiry, but I can't find that setting in the Sky Hub Max menu. Is the option still available on the Sky Max Hub? I can't find it on the MySky app either - only the option to downgrade wifi security for all devices from WPA3-T (the default) to WPA3 or WPA2 (the printer's default), which I'd rather not do. Is my printer incompatible with the Sky Max Hub? Grateful for any advice, thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly @Highlinder
Is it possible to set WPA2-PSK for the printer only, rather than for all of the devices?
I can't find that setting on the Sky Hub max or on mySky - am I missing something obvious?
Best wishes
